Creating Culture as Competitive Advantage

ONLINE WEBINAR | Free Registration | No membership required

Most business owners spend significant time thinking about strategy, customers, revenue, operations, and growth. Yet one of the most powerful drivers of all five is often left to develop largely by accident: culture.

Culture is not simply how people feel about working in your company. It is the system of shared beliefs, behaviors, expectations, decisions, and operating norms that shapes how work actually gets done, especially when the owner is not in the room.

For growing companies, culture can become either a competitive advantage or an invisible constraint. The practices that helped a founder build a $100k business may not be the same practices required to lead a $500K, $1 million, or $10 million enterprise.

In this highly interactive 90-minute workshop, Dr. Cornelia Shipley Bearyman will introduce business owners to the principles of Conscious Culture Creation™ and explore how leaders can intentionally create cultures that support strategy, attract and retain the right talent, strengthen execution, improve the customer experience, and enable sustainable growth.

Participants will examine their own organizations through three lenses:

What has made us successful?
What must we protect?
What must evolve for the business we are becoming?

Through targeted teaching, reflection, and peer dialogue, participants will leave with greater clarity about the culture their future business requires and one priority they can begin addressing immediately.

Participants will leave able to:

  • Recognize where culture is currently creating advantage or organizational drag.
  • Understand the difference between stated culture and experienced culture.
  • Identify cultural strengths that should be preserved as the organization grows.
  • Identify behaviors, norms, or leadership practices that may no longer serve the next stage of the business.
  • Define one culture priority that could strengthen business performance over the next 12–18 months.
