Meet Our Presenter: 

Esther R (“Essie”) Escobedo 

“Essie” founded Office Angels in 2002 after a 20+ year career as a small business owner, serving as Chief Executive and Financial Officer for two corporations which she co-founded. Prior to this experience, she held various senior positions within the educational services industry.

Essie has served on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Atlanta Women's Network (AWN), the Professional Women’s Information Network (ProWIN), has served on the Advisory Board of Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE).

Office Angels is the recipient of the 2021 Small Business of Excellence award from the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Essie was honored to be a Turknett Leadership Character Award nominee.

For the last 24 years, Essie has been mentoring small business owners to achieve success. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from The American University and served as Adjunct Professor of Business at Lanier Technical College.
